Whether you rent, own, are renovating or building a house, or are just looking to learn, this course will give you a foundation to help you assess and design a regenerative and ecological landscape to meet your (or your clients) goals.
In this course, you'll learn:
Intro to landscape design: ecology, psychology, history

Approaches to conceptual planning & design
How to draw a site plan and design details for your own home or other residential site
Intro to plant design: natives, edibles, function & beauty!
This course will use a predetermined site as a case study for applying concepts. We will offer optional evening sessions for students with a personal project to develop their base maps and start designing.
